A literacy specialist who has taught students from preschool through college, Judy conducts workshops nationally on topics related to literacy. In addition to authoring eleven books, she has written a monthly column on character education for LibrarySparks and published dozens of articles in Children's Writer and the annual editions of Writer's Guide. Judy has taught graduate courses in literacy and writing for children. She is a freelance editor and writing consultant for educational publishers, business organizations, and individuals interested in writing for children.
