Judy McCabe was born in Burlington, Vermont and grew up in Western New York. It was there she met and married Richie McCabe, a former NFL player who was then coaching the Buffalo Bills.They spent fourteen years in the NFL before Richie died at a young age of colon cancer.Judy's life has always centered around her family, but as her children grew up she searched for something that would be as enjoyable to her as raising her family had been. She has always referred to herself as a bookworm and discovered a natural progression from reading to writing.Her fist book, "Thoughts of Home" was nominated for Best Book of the Year in the non fiction catagory by the St Paul Friends of the Library.
