Julia Ingram (1940-) nee' Nielsen, was born in Pocatello, Idaho, to a devout Mormon couple. The family moved to Portland, Oregon, when she was 15, and she credits that move with helping all seven of them move into the bigger world. She has been a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist for over 40 years and has given seminars and workshops on Regression Therapy and on consciousness in the US and Canada. Her first book, "The Messengers," (co-written with G.W. Hardin) was a NY Times Bestseller. Its sequel, "The Lost Sisterhood," includes her journey away from Mormonism, and to a belief in reincarnation. Her latest book is "Born Scared: When Anxiety was created in the Womb, at Birth, or in Prior LIfetimes." Her CD, "Help Yourself Overcome Anxiety through Self-hypnosis," is also available through Amazon.com. She practices hypnotherapy in Portland, Oregon. www.juliaingram.com
