"Memoirs of a Wannabe Sex Addict" is Julia Morizawa's debut collection of erotica. Her short erotic story, "The Slave," was originally published online by Sliptongue, then again in the eighth volume of Maxim Jakubowski's "The Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica." Julia's past writing credits include "Twenty-Two," a one-act play, which premiered in January 2010 at the Knightsbridge Theatre in Los Angeles; and "Sin & Lyle," a short film, which hit the festival circuit in 2007 and earned her a Best Female Filmmaker nomination at the Action On Film Festival in Long Beach, CA. Julia also produced and performed in both of these projects, as she is primarily an actor, and has been in LA long enough to know that if she wants to play a certain role, she has to write it for herself. As an actor, Julia has performed in over 100 film, television, stage and internet productions throughout her career. Additional highlights include "Judas Kiss" (feature film ranked ranked the #1 recommended LGBT film of 2011 by 'The Advocate' and 'Queerty'); "Tied Up" (feature film for which she was awarded Best Supporting Actress at the Denver Underground Film Festival 2004); "Frontier Guard" and "Star Trek: Odyssey" (webseries); "Lewis Black's the Root of All Evil" (TV) and "Masha No Home" (stage, East West Players).Current projects include "JesusCat (or How I Accidentally Joined a Cult)," a feature-length mockumentary, which Julia is also producing and is currently in post-production.For more information and regular updates, visit www.juliamorizawa.com.
