I enjoyed the characters in this story and feel the author did a really good job creating them and having them feel real. The language and the conversations between H.F. and Bo were marvelous. I didn't know what attracted Wendy to H.F., or vice versa and wished the story had been about that relation...

A great historical novel, engagingly written and nicely detailed, set in World War II era Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
