Julie Jett moved to the Joplin area at the age of nine and experienced immediate, severe culture shock which lasted well into her teens. After high school, college, some insanity, marriage, a nursing career, a couple of brilliant kids, and a few years as a true crime blogger, she decided to write a novel.Julie now lives on the shores of Table Rock Lake with her husband, her son, and two pugs, one of whom is named Max.
