Lets start off by saying that Ms. Kenner is one of my favorite Erotica authors as one of my favorite series is The Stark International Trilogy is one of my top favorite series and Bitch Slap was yet another winner in my book.I loved the story from beginning to end as well as its characters. Omg from...
Enjoyable short story about a demon-hunting mom and her teenage daughter. No knowledge of the series is needed to enjoy. It's short and to the point - reminiscent of a Buffy episode. Narration was well done. Narrator does great job switching between mom and daughter as point-of-view. All voices age ...
It's hard to get really involved in the ROMANCE when you're irritated, annoyed, and disgusted by the characters. Heroine - you cheated. You know you did. You even realized it after the fact. You're also dumber than a box of hammers to have ever let your best buddy talk you into posing nude for him...
So, I have been really digging anthologies lately! I love getting short stories I can dive into and finish in one sitting and I love getting a peek into authors I might not have heard of or read before. In this case, those authors I have never read before were ALL of them except Liliana Hart and Tar...
I got through part of it before realizing I'd read book one a few weeks ago. As I recall, it was *this* character that had me irritated in that book, so reading her story wasn't exactly something I gave much thought. Once upon a time, there was a shy, impoverished nerd in a small Texas town. Three...
Hate to tell heroine this but straight guys rarely are interested in just being friends unless they consider you to be as appealing as a root canal. Also, friends in general rarely put up with harassment about their finances and work habits. Ergo, the whole bit about him being only a friend is a bit...
Occasionally I wonder if I'm missing out in not having one of those best friends who shares everything, but then I read about a h with one and decided that no; I'm good. So our h, writer of a popular spy thriller series under a pseudonym that neither her publisher nor her editor know about, finds ...
Arc copy provided for honest review and reviewed by Angels with Attitude Book Reviews The first time I met her I wanted to slap her. The second time, I knew I had to have her. As for the third time, a gentleman doesn’t tell. So I guess it’s a good thing I’m no gentleman … right? Let’s get this ...
What a trip down memory lane. As I read these short stories, it took me back to my teen years and what I recalled about Judy Blume’s novels. I remembered sneaking to read her paperback novels, as my mother thought Judy was inappropriate and too mature for my innocent, sinless eyes. It was on my way ...
So this is an unusual book. I loved it, of course. Story is quite interesting. Superheroes, villainous fathers, kidnapped kid, romance, intrigue, and lots of drama. All in all an interesting mix of weird events. I enjoyed reading it and am sure to check out other books in this series.
