Rating: 3.5 Stars Julius Caesar is a surprisingly good novel, if not a little rushed and overly dramatic and kind of deteriorating to silly at the end. It is Roman custom to fall upon their own blade once defeat is inevitable. An honourable way to die? I'd rather fight until the end. But I can understand not wanting to die at the hands of your enemies.
