I received a digital and print copy from Netgalley and Berkley in exchange for an honest review. I thought Surrender was a great story, I liked the kind of healing and redeeming theme in the story but it was a little too heavy in the angst for my liking. I still finished the read and I still found m...

Hmmm.  I really like this series and I have to admit that am a bit behind with it.  I have yet to read the book before this one, Arrest.  That being said, if you have not picked up one single book in the series before this one, you will be ok.  I am aware of some of the events in Arrest but I didn't...

I really enjoyed this addition in Henry and Elsie's love story. There was a lot of angst with this couple, but it proved how much both these characters were affected by their past and what they had to do in order to ensure their marriage and family stayed on level ground.

There were a lot of times I wanted to smack Henry and Elsie, but I truly loved this story. It was different and I wasn't sure they were really going to get it right, but when I got to the last page I knew they were where they were supposed to be. I've downloaded ARREST, a continuation of Henry and...

I'm reviewing the entire series here. And it's a 4+.Sweet emotional story about Elsie, who had lost her brother in Afganistan. Elsie is living with Henry, his best friend, with whom she's been in love with since her early teens. We are taken on a rather emotional journey, on both sides, Henry's and ...
