I can always count on Jo Myles to write a very British book, and this first one in the Bristol Collection has all the usual charm and style I expect from this author. Jasper, he with the dull librarian job at the university and the unfashionable somewhat dowdy clothes, is a hoarder. Of books, magazi...

This was a wonderful read about two everyday young men with personal issues they have to overcome if they want to have a future together. Jasper’s hoarding problem was fascinating because it was both recognisable and unimaginable to me. I completely get the need to hang on to books and magazines (ne...

This was a winner. I loved that it was also about something. Jasper is a Hoarder and Lewis is hired for professional help. Yes, they develop a thing and it was entertaining. For me the real hint of gold were the moments when Jasper is mentally dealing with his problem. I've been watching a friend de...

A sweet story, just moved way too slow for me. I loved Jasper and learning why he hoarded his collection.

I like Josephine Myles's writing. Her wry, bright characters are easy to love, so I keep coming back to her books even though they're usually average reads for me, overall. There were a few extra things that didn't sit well with me in Junk though. The premise made me squirm. I don't find a hoarder—ev...

The main reason I wanted to read this book? One of the main characters is a hoarder. Yes, a true blue, needs help, hoarder. He hoards books, magazines and newspapers. I was extremely curious as to how the author was going to turn this guy into a sympathetic - as opposed to pitiful - character an...

Ms. Miles did a lot of research on hoarding and the treatment of it and it shows. Either that or she has first hand experience with it. The descriptions were perfect, the fears, the anxiety, and so forth. I do think it was unethical for any involvement between the two MCs while the therapy was going...

Totally, absolutely, wonderfully fabulous. I loved this book! The characters are real and the story is original. I got lost in Bristol with two adorable men. I wish I've never been to England, but I could see every scene like a picture in my mind. Very well written. This is pretty low angst for a c...

4.5 stars. An original subject for this well-written m/m romance, full of brilliant eccentric characters. Jasper is a librarian who hoards books, Lewis is the clutter clearance expert who steps in to help Jasper overcome his hoarding problem."People have died buried under their own hoards, you know,...
