The Longmire series goes back to its roots: the feuds, follies and felonies of larger-than-life characters in small-town Wyoming. "Junkyard Dogs" is one of my favourite Longmire stories because, after "Another Man's Moccasin's" where we spent most of our time learning about Longmire's youthful ex...

I wish Walt and Vic would figure out their relationship - well at least Walt because he's the one who seems to be putting the brakes on everything. Good story. I thought it was going to be the SPOILER [ old school teacher of Walt's (hide spoiler)] but no. Another surprise to me ending which has once...

This one opens with probably the funniest incidents in the series, I don't want to spoil it, just trust me. Actually, there's quite a few things in the opening chapters of this book to chuckle at or with. But it wouldn't be much of a mystery novel if it stayed that way. And so one chuckle-worthy...

A bit lighter than the previous books in the series with lots of quirky characters and some pretty far out situations. The Wyoming winter setting was bone chilling and the narration of the audio, by George Guidall, was topnotch.

This was the first Longmire book I've read. I did see the first season of the show (in an embarrassingly short amount of time, I was sick), which is why I bought the book. I enjoyed the show, and I also enjoyed the book.A murder mystery set in a small town on the Wyoming/Montana boarder, I'm not goi...

Action from the beginning to end just the way I liked it. The first four Longmire books I read was ok, the fifth was really good, but this one was truly amazing. There was just so much in this book that I loved. The case was interesting and never dull and the ending was surprising. There was a lot W...
