I almost didn't read this. Collections of short stories or essays just aren't my thing. But in this case I am glad I tried it!I was never one of the Wesley Haters, though I didn't like him overmuch either. But I could see the phenomenon in full force on the internet over the years. So it's not surpr...
Let me get this out of the way: I hated Wesley Crusher. Deep and burning passion of loathing? I had it. Here was this kid, younger than I was, taking screen time away from the magnificent Captain Picard. Saving the ship. Putting the ship in danger and then saving it. Piloting the ship. There was app...
Wil Wheaton is the kind of guy that makes you want to be a better person. Wheaton's Law is followed by all his fans, and when the Humble Ebook Bundle was up for sale I jumped at the chance to grab it. Just A Geek is a very honest book, and while a lot of time has passed since its release, it was gre...
Great read for fans of Wheaton, and for those of Star Trek as well, though this is not about Star Trek per say. About Wheaton before his restart of his career in the recent years.

But out of curiosity and having just finished a rewatching of TNG I decided to start with this one. From first page to las...
I liked the book a lot and I hope to see some of his comedy at Dragon*Con. I read his blog sometimes and Whatever too. Both are interesting, but long, I tend to get behind and never catch up. Because, in that time, tv shows would appear in my country 10 to 20 years after their debut, I managed to watch both the original series and the others in the same decade. However, I w...
Very good read. It was a nice walk thru his time on TNG and how he basically shot himself in the foot by leaving the show. But he's succeed in spite of it. Wil is a very good writer and tells very funny stories that actually transport you as though you were living the memory yourself.
