I don't want to show you the summary of this book, because it spoils everything for the first book. I did a review of that one (with a summary) as well, so klick here for the summary and review. My opinion: I finished it last week and didn't know if I should even do a review about it, but I decide...
As soon as I finished Just one Day I moved straight onto this, the second in the series. In the past I’ve never been one for book series but I liked how this one worked in that it wasn’t a continuation of the story from the previous protagonist, Allyson’s, perspective. This book was instead told by ...
I feel the same about this book as a do as the first. I liked parts of it while other parts seemed to drag. I would like to read the third book since I have read the first two. Mixed feelings once again.
I liked this novel because it was in Willem's point of view, and so you got to see what happened with Allyson aka Lulu through his eyes and mind. In a way, it reminded me of the If I Stay series just because like that series Gayle did the 1st novel through the girl's point of view than with the 2nd ...
Filler book is a filler book. I'm not even going to bother rating it since after the 20% mark I just skimmed it until the last few pages. I don't care about Willem's family history and bla bla bla. We already know what he did for that year-nothing of interest. Missed connections are missed connectio...
Read this review, and many more on my blog October Tune!“Have you been gone for so long you’ve forgotten how to drink and drive a bike? How can you even call yourself Dutch anymore?”In Just One Day, we read the story of Allyson, aka ‘Lulu’, who has an amazing day in Paris with the Dutch Willem. But ...
This is the pov of Willem. It's not necessarily a love story but a story about relationships and finding one self. At first, it started slow for me. But near the last part of the book for me everything came together and I loved how it ended. Just don't go into this book thinking it will be a epic lo...
For me, this book is far more improved than the first one. I'm starting to consider the reason I gave the first book 3 stars was because I was more interested about finding out more of Willem. Sooner did I realize that all my questions would be answered by this book. So much for closure.
I'm glad I reread Just One Day before starting this one. They are very neatly paired, in their similar stories of how two young adults stop coasting and start really living their own lives; they parallel one another in how the two leads come to view their parents as people.Willem has had a bad time ...
