This book qualifies as a bust. I couldn’t read it to the end. I read about 1/3 and then skimmed the rest, so I wouldn’t waste too much time. I had such high expectations for this book. I read several of this author’s romance novels before and liked them. I was happy to find the one I hadn’t read at ...
The back and forth between these two was actually insanely annoying, but by the time I finished reading the last page, I felt like I really enjoyed the story. I don't know what's wrong with me.
This was on sale a little while ago, so I picked it up because I've liked Julie James' more recent stuff (this is her debut), but this was a disappointment. Partly I think that's my fault: as a lawyer/litigator myself, I have little tolerance for the overdramatized, oversimplified simulacrum of lega...
Okay, time for some ‘True Confessions’. Is there any woman alive who hasn’t dreamed of landing the absolute sexiest Hollywood star? Fess up! We’ve all dreamed it. It may have been when we were younger, but we’ve still all dreamed of Mel Gibson, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Robert Redford, etc. But really...
Very well written and easy to read. There were a few grammatical errors, but nothing bad enough to get my panties in a bunch. I laughed out loud a few times, which always helps towards my overall feeling of a book. I think with more elaborate resolutions this could have been five stars; i.e:1. Altho...
Laughed outloud in several very realistic situations I could placed myself in with this book.(CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD)However, the end it's too rushed up, not quite fitting the reality of the scenes of the rest of the book, I guess those HEA-Hollywood-star endings still seem too unbelievable to me.Bu...
First Reads The minute I received this book in the mail I sat down, stayed up half the night and read it. I love Julie James, she is just fabulous. Just The Sexiest Man Alive was fun, hilarious, and sexy all in one! What a win of a read, I adored Taylor because she was so relate-able, shes real and ...
This was adorable. I can definitely see how much Julie James has grown from this debut book, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I have a soft spot for the geeky girl who grows into the hottie. I loved the banter between Taylor and Jason, it made me smile a lot and added a lot to their chemistry.
