This my first go at reading these 80s JLI issues, and I really enjoyed it. There's a great mix of characters here, most of whom I already knew fairly well and liked. Immensely fun. I feel like you could remove everything except the characters' faces and, well you wouldn't know what was going on, but it'd be one hell of a rewarding experience.However, that would, of course, have one missing the great writing. I couldn't shake the feeling that I liked this so much...
