I was born October 28, 1969, in Memphis, in the hospital at which Elvis's autopsy was performed. Soon after (my birth, not Elvis's autopsy), my father moved my mother and me to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where we lived across the street from the base housing at which Jeffrey MacDonald slaughtered his family, claiming the deed was done by wayward hippies ("Acid is groovy. Kill the pigs!" --alleged wayward hippie). I grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bacherlor's in English and religious studies. In my mid-20s, I moved to Las Vegas, where I earned my master's (in English, UNLV, 1996), got my first paid writing gig (a bar review column written as The Nightcrawler), and my first job in journalism. I am always interested in new writing projects. I'm fast, I'm good, and I can write about pretty much anything (as long as I understand it...math-related projects, bad; towns with dirty names, good). *******PLEASE NOTE THAT I ALSO HAVE BOOKS UNDER THE NAMES QUENTIN PARKER AND WILLIAM WILSON.*******
