K.A. Krisko lives in northern Colorado with her two Australian Cattle Dogs, Page and Carter. She is involved in dog training and trialing with the National Association of Canine Scentwork (NACSW); outdoor activities including hiking and dog-walking; and writing and reading/reviewing. She maintains three blogs: The Typebar (writing and other things wordsmith), Woman With A Hammer (DIY home repair), and Crazy Dog Carter (reactive dogs and dog training) as well as several web sites, facebook pages, and other pages. She is a retired park ranger and emergency medical technician.
