This was a pleasant story, wrapping up plot threads from the first book. I liked that Merrick found love too. This introduced Jonah who gets his own story (and that promises to be interesting). Looking forward to Crane and Stephen as side characters in his since they have some unfinished business.Ri...

This was well paced for the length. I enjoyed reading about Stephen working a case with Lucien. This particular case affects them personally, because Merrick is one of the victims. Also learned that Merrick [spoiler] was married and his wife died in childbirth. [/spoiler]
