Kaaren lives in the Northern California foothills with her animal family of dogs, cats, and ducks. After retiring from the computer industry, she devoted herself to her second career- art. A self-taught artist, she is the author of four books, including the three on Amazon as well as an earlier book on decorative painting, "Nature' Vignettes." She is currently working in polymer clay, pastel and mixed media, and, nearly always the subject is animals.
