When I was in school, my top career choices were "writer" or "dinosaur wrangler at Jurassic Park." According to my school counselor, these were equally far fetched ideas. I ended up graduating college with a couple of science degrees—which sounds like I'm really smart, but really I just couldn't decide what I wanted to do if creating novels or velociraptors was off the table. Maybe that's why my favorite stories start in the spot where "real" and "what if" overlap, and from there they dive into the deep end of adventure, full of epic swashbuckling, witty banter, and a touch of romance. NO GOOD DEED is my first novel, and I couldn't be more excited, even if I sometimes suspect wrangling a T-Rex would be a slightly less daunting job.
