So this was good, but not as good as I hoped it would be. This story has us reading about the same kids. This time there is a new game to be played, though no one wants to play. Revenge is the name of the game. I did like the twists and that I did not have a clue who was the mastermind working with...

I loved this book!!! So you take a ride on a mystery train through Whodunnitville. At times you think you know who the real culprit is, and in the end it turned out I was right, but not before a few twists and turns along the way. I loved these four characters who were under investigation. Nate, the...

Twisty-turny breakfast-club-ish story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I actually figured out what was going on towards the end (but maybe I was supposed to figure it out). I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will read more by this author.

Five students end up in detention and one dies. The other four are under suspicion for murder. The dead student wrote an on-line gossip column that seems to be true. And each of the suspects has secrets he/she wants hidden. Who is guilty? I enjoyed this story. It is a fast read but I was gues...

What a ridiculous ass book. Okay. I am going to say something more substantial. I have eaten flavorless oatmeal that had more to it than this book. Character development is non-existent. You get to see characters from the previous book briefly, but we don't get to get into their heads. McManus de...

Five high-school students in the San Diego suburb Bayview are given detention for having cell phones in their bags. But the odd thing is the phones are not theirs. One of the students, Bronwyn, tries to make this point by holding up her actual phone, which was stowed in her locker when she was nabbe...

I enjoyed this a whole lot more than I expected! I came of age in the eighties, so I saw The Breakfast Club in the theater, and the set up for this book was really appealing to me. Each of the main characters is outwardly a teen archetype: bad boy Nate, star athlete Cooper, ivy-league bound brain...

I didn't like the two leads (Malcolm and Ellery) and the whole book really showcases why a lot of true crime fans like Ellery suck. They don't really care about the victims of a crime, they just want to play amateur sleuths and think they can find the guilty party. That said, there was not really an...
