So, I liked the stories better in this volume, and I can see that Harley is getting her footing: there's evolution even in this volume, there's a bit of sharpening as her character gets a bit more defined. I did get bored towards the end, probably because I've read better Harley stories. I know...

There's less focus on her bisexuality/implied polyamory**, and it's simply less witty. It's also less crazy. That is, Harley seems offbeat here, but not quite as predatory, homicidal or mentally ill as in the next series. And the thing is that all those things in the third sentence may not s...

Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.Mulder and Scully are investigating a case and realise that it draws parallels with another case from the 1940's. They begin to receive mysterious messages and learn of Mr Zero who also appears to be involv...

A case in the present that includes prophetic messages convinces Mulder that the entity behind them is the same entity that contacted a suburban housewife in 1946. It was quite nice reading an X-files graphic novel, made me wanna see the show again. The story was ok, but I wasn't overjoyed with th...

Title of the volume sounds familiar? The sandman, right? Preludes and nocturnes. Joke's on Gaiman.Well, it's awesome how Harley was split from the Joker in these first issues of her own comic. Great backstory and exciting flashback of the first interview with the Joker. Gonna read more now!

If I had to summarize this story arc in a single word, that word would be: lolwhat.Definitely whenever you are doing a serious story like an AU of the 2000 presidential election, you should be sure to include an interlude where Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen (things have been published under that title ...

I think this comic collection can best be described by the word MEH.

I adore Harley so it was awesome seeing her out on her own in Gotham. It was exactly what I was expecting, everything from her adorable pouting faces to her corny jokes

Got this for my girlfriend for her birthday (I am clearly the best boyfriend ever) but I had to read it too.Death and Return of Superman exemplifies a lot of what 90's comics were all about... mostly in a good way, although some of the good things here got copied and blown out of proportion by other...

Actively painful and embarrassing to read. This is why comics in the late 1970s and early 1980s sucked. What's scary is that this lame piece of garbage was written in 1993. Was I ever juvenile enough not to cringe at page after page of "plain, everyday Americans" proclaiming (in what I can only imag...
