A bit too much internal dialogue and the female secondary characters in particular, were ridiculous caricatures of every female in m/m fiction: the ex, the hag, the PFLAG mother.However, this wasn't a bad read and some of Niki's faux pas made me giggle.
Often distracted by writing style/word choice - too self-conciously trying to be clever or erudite. Also by Ford's ass having lips (?!?) and him having a snatch (?!?).
Stopped at 25%. Too much internal dialog to be enjoyable for me. I found it tedious. A shame because the plot sounded fun.
