Fun, fluffy quick reads all the way through. It does get formulaic and all, so you either love it or you'll get bored as you go through the series as it's basically the same story over and over. Superheros really do suck at hiding their secret identities and you'll still figure it out before any of ...

Not an amazing piece of literature, but a fun read. Has the feeling of a classic style comic book in novel form.

It was stupid and enjoyable which is very hard to rate. Let's say 2.5 stars.

Romantic superhero farce in an alternate reality of modern day America, where superheroes and villains are real and every town has their own yin-yang pair. The story focuses on a young female journalist who discovers her fiance and best friend in bed together AND that they are the superhero and vil...

I'm glad I read her other series first. I love the elemental assassin books, but I didn't care for this one at all. I thought it was supposed to be funny. Everything was just too obvious for me. I do like the author, but this book just wasn't for me at all.

Mini review:When I got a chance to review this series I jumped at it! I've been so curious and became even more so when I got a couple of quick references to "Karma Girl comics" in the Elemental Assassin Series and The Mythos Academy Series. So, the question remains... did I enjoy this book? Oh yes ...

A light, fun, fantastic street view of comic book heros, I enjoyed KARMA GIRL immensely. Carmen Cole is a heroine after any bookworm's heart, leveraging her organizational skills with intuitive leaps to make one heck of a reference librarian (though no librarian would travel with garbage bags full ...

More like 3.5. I really enjoy Estep's writing and this was no exception. This was a fun and interesting plot - an out for revenge reporter sets her sights on exposing every superhero and ubervillian across the country. She meets her match in Bigtime, where she finds her match in both superheros and...
