Hi - I'm Kate and I live in Essex in the UK.I've always loved writing - I can't stop! I've met many incredible people through writing, learnt a huge amount and had opportunities I'd only ever dreamt of - visiting schools and talking to children, running writing workshops at children's bookshops and libraries - it's been wonderful and I want to continue to write and work hard and build on what I've done so far, life's too short to be sitting at home! I've now published 3 books and 2 short stories in the children's series, The Burly & Grum Tales. I've been incredibly lucky and one of my books, 'Burly & Grum and The Secret City' was a finalist in the People's Book Awards 2013/14.
