An automobile accident, a book that can't seem to get written, a new home, a murder, and unsettling questions Bryn had about her new husband. Bryn was recovering from an accident with the total support from her husband starting to wane after three months. Was he tired of her fragility? Was he doi...

Much to do about nothing. This was one long, drawn out boring story. I could care less what the ending was about once I got there. I just forced myself to finish it. This author won't be in my "to read" list.

I've read all of White's novels and she has had a couple of good ones but I thought even then some of those had a little too much fluff and not enough substance but this one went way over the top. 90% of it was about curtains, clothes, dating and food! If I wanted to hear about all of that I would c...

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this one, although I figured out the end by about the halfway point. It was creepy and suspenseful enough to keep me reading.

This was so boring! The mystery was easily solved in the first few chapters and most of the book is spent describing everyone's outfit.

The story starts off with free-lance journalist Bailey Weggins being called by her boss to investigate her nanny not answering a call, when they find a dead body. Even though she's a writer and not a cop, Bailey is given the task of investigating this murder. Bailey's character to me was much more s...
