Katharina Murdoch (1953) grew up in Gamserberg, on a mountain farm in the eastern German speaking part of Switzerland. It is a place of great natural beauty overlooking the Rhine Valley, seeing the Austrian mountains and the whole land of the Principality of Liechtenstein. As the the oldest daughter in a family of nine she knew from an early age how to be hard working.Growing up in nature and working with the soil, she was aware of God who was "out there". Often on a steep hill with a hayfork in her small hand she was wondering why she was born on this plot of land, into this family and doing this heavy work. She would ask herself often, "Who am I anyway? Who would I be had I been born in another country, having rich parents, living an easy life?" However, that was a thought which she didn't want to hang on to for long, because it frightened her to think that she might not have been born at all. It was better to be in the skin she was in, on this steep mountain farm, for somehow it gave her security despite the struggle of existing life. It took her over 40 years to discover the God "in here". Always conscious and aware of God since the age of four, she discribes her metamorphosis like this: "Fearing an angry God, who watches every move I make, observing me with fiery eyes, mostly disapproving eyes over my seemingly big faults, shortcomings, and flaws, I had a revelation at sixteen years old of a God who loves me." Overwhelmed with such LOVE of divine Agape, she started a love relationship with her greatest "psychiatrist" as she calls Him, namely Jesus Christ. Even though she felt God's love, she was still outwardly orientated for many years making her sad and full of self-condemnation. Then one day she got it. "The kingdom of God is within me, inside me." She would find the answers inside her and give up the fight with the world outside.Having always been in the medical helping profession, as a nurse, and later when she completed her studies as an Integrative Kinesiologist, she began to look within herself and her journey of inner self-healing began. In 1980 she married Frederick James Murdoch, who she met in a bible college in England. Now twenty-nine years later she is still in love with Jim, who she calls a romantic and loving man. Four adult sons are her delight. Her passion is to empower people with the knowledge: "You can do it, you have a choice, you are awesome and able. Do it. DO IT NOW". People who feel powerless, broken and with a low self-esteem are now inspired to live their own life's purpose, vision and wholeness.
