This was an okay story. I think the main character, Emily, was just a little crazy for marrying a man she had only known for less than two weeks and then moving to Italy to live with his family. A place she had never been and people she had never met. They are living with his parents. Her mother-in-...

DEAR MR. KNIGHTLEY: A NOVEL by Katherine Reay made me cry. I was concerned there wouldn't be a happy ever after and I would have been okay with that. But the author sneaked one in at the end and made it work. And I'm okay with that too.

I loved the characters especially the grandmother, Helen, she was certainly a feisty thing. The au...

I wasn't keen on the "heroine" Lucy who was a devious piece of work, nor did I like the way it was written. It's as though chunks of it are missing as it jumps from one thing to another. The idea of this story appealed and the literary connections were something to be enjoyed, but I was left feeling...

The Bronte Plot focuses on Lily Alling, and her life altering trip to England. Lily is an antique book seller and collector who has just been caught forging inscriptions into the books she is selling. It is none other than her new boyfriend James who catches her, sending her career into a tailspin...
