Tę książkę znalazłam przypadkiem przeszukując półki w bibliotece. Tytuł, opis i okładka zaciekawiły mnie do tego stopnia, że postanowiłam wypożyczyć i przeczytać. Niestety, książka okazała się zupełnie inną niż oczekiwałam. Spodziewałam się jakichś miłosnych intryg, zdrad, jakiejś namiętności... cóż...

I have a quirk where if I don't like the hero or heroine's name, I can't get into the book. Synnovea may be my limit. When the heroine's name sounds like a defunct car make...how? Just how? Aside from the ridiculousness of her name, she was a complete and total dunderhead. And the hero, Tyrone (ugh)...

This was the first book I ever read by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss and it´s still my most loved one. The story between Aislinn the daughter of a Saxon baron and Wulfgar a Norman and how they came to love each other in a time of war, conquest and upheaval makes me still sighing happily and my eyes suspicio...

Wulfgar then clai...

I had been thinking about reading this book for a few weeks now and it was still good the second time around; if not better. The characters are beautiful crafted, the location just breathtaking and the story has no faults. I loved every minute of this book and just couldn't put it down.

This story of a woman thrown out of the house she was living in and finding salvation in the arms of a sea-captain is entertaining but pretty sluggish. Could have done with some serious editing to make it flow better and without some of the repeated explination of plot points. The only thing that ...

This has got to be the WORST HISTORICAL ROMANCE I HAVE EVER ATTEMPTED TO READ!Argh! The conversation was so forced, it was like watching an old play, with, I shit you not a proper damsel in distress. And he is the classic mustache twisting villain. The author has proven that she has the uncanny abil...
