Kathryn Scarborough was brought up around the south with her Naval aviator father and school teacher mother. She has family ties in Wiesbaden, Germany and still has family living there whom she visits infrequently. She was a musician and teacher for many years but finds herself writing now more than any of the other two endeavors. She is married and she and her husband have four grown children and a grand daughter and reside in NC. Das Medallion,(The Locket) released in 2010, received great reviews.
