Enjoyable paranormal romance short stories. I skipped the last story, a historical. Jeaniene Frost's story is only loosely connected to her series and can stand alone. I haven't read any of the other "Nicki Styx" books and it stood alone okay too.

This is the 3rd of this series I've read and I have to say the sex seems a tad Anita Blake. No there are no animals or children, it just seems to get in the way, it's raunchy and long and probably unnecessary.

This is book 2 in the Brotherhood of Blood series. I have not read the first book in the series, but starting with this book did not make me feel behind like I was missing part of the story. I think this is going to be a very good series to continue reading. The story is well told and the characters...
