If you need to find me on any weekday morning, then I'm usually to be found in the far corner of my favourite cafe, with a large black coffee in one hand, and a ballpoint pen in the other. I spend each and every morning immersed in thoughts of all things kinky, thoroughly enjoying the fact that most of my fellow caffeine sippers have no idea what I'm writing. After ten years of compiling stories and poems, I can say without doubt, that there is NO going back for me. Once writing has you in its power you are at its mercy for life. It doesn't pay well, it leads to constant disappointment, and it takes over every other thing you do - but when the publisher says "Yes," and the occasional unexpected royalty cheque arrives in the post, it suddenly all seems worthwhile, and I LOVE IT!!So far, Kay has written over 90 short stories and had 15 solo publications, including The Perfect Submissive Trilogy (The Perfect Submissive, The Retreat and Knowing Her Place, Xcite 2011-14), and the standalone novels Making Him Wait (Sweetmeats Press, 2012), The Voyeur (Xcite, 2012); the novellas Not Her Type (1001 Nights Press, 2013), Digging Deep (Xcite, 2013), A Sticky Situation (Xcite, 2012), and The Circus (Sweetmeats Press, 2011); the anthologies The Best of Kay Jaybee (Xcite, 2012), Tied to the Kitchen Sink, Equipment (All Romance, 2012), Yes, Ma'am (Xcite e-books, 2011), Quick Kink One, Quick Kink Two (Xcite, 2010), The Collector (Austin & Macauley, 1st ed. 2008, 2nd ed. 2012, and the short story "Punished" (Sweetmeats Press, 2013). Kay also writes non erotic romance as Jenny Kane (Another Cup of Coffee, Another Cup of Christmas- Accent Press, 2013)
