Kayce Lassiter, second-generation native Arizonan, was born to deaf parents and grew up on a dairy farm. Living on a farm as a kid can be fun, but lonely, so she learned to dream, to imagine, to pretend--something she's never grown out of. Still living in rural Arizona with her horses and dogs, Kayce writes light, snarky stories set in a country environment--what she calls "Chick Lit in Cowgirl Boots" and just for fun, she likes to throw in a little magic too. After all, what would a good 'ol country story be without magic. Doesn't everyone have a fairy god mother who rides a Harley and sports a "Bite Me, Cowboy" tattoo on her shoulder?
