Keith has been the pastor of small, large and mega churches (was Senior Pastor at three Evangelical Free Churches, and was Executive Pastor of Church of the Open Door for 17 years) and now writes, speaks, teaches, leads retreats, coaches pastors and leaders and consults. He has also consulted for various church and para-church organizations for over 30 years and currently specializes in coaching pastors and leaders in their own Soul Care and Spiritual Formation as well as in designing organizational cultures of churches, their staff and lay leadership teams and congregations to become Missional Communities of Transformation. He also is Adjunct Professor in Spiritual Formation at Denver Seminary and a Senior Teaching Fellow, team teaching with Dallas Willard, in the Renovare Institute For Christian Spiritual Formation.Keith also writes as contributing editor for Leadership Journal and Biola/Talbot’s Journal of Soul Care and Spiritual Formation and has three books being published, Whole Life Transformation: Becoming The Change Your Church Needs (InterVarsity Press Formatio, June of 2010) and Practicing Jesus’ Rhythms With Each Other (IVP Formatio, Fall of 2012) and has a chapter in a group project with Bill Hull, Bruce Demarest and Dallas Willard and others in The Kingdom Life: A Practical Theology of Discipleship and Spiritual Formation (NavPress, March of 2010).
