With a resumé listing more than 3,500 magazine, newspaper and website articles about fishing, hunting, wildlife, conservation and more, Keith Sutton of Alexander, Arkansas, has established a reputation as one of the country’s best-known outdoor writers. He has written 12 books, co-authored five, edited 14 and contributed to 71 more. His award-winning articles and photographs have appeared in numerous outdoor periodicals, including Sports Afield, Outdoor Life, Field & Stream, In-Fisherman, North American Fisherman, Cabela’s Outfitter Journal, Fishing Facts, Bassin’, Bass Club Digest, Crappie World, FLW Outdoors, Fishing Tackle Trade News, Trailer Life, Heartland USA, Coarse Fishing (Great Britain) and Pesca Esportive (Brazil), and in mainstream markets such as National Wildlife, BBC Wildlife, Progressive Farmer, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Tech Magazine and ABCNews.com. His field studies have been published in scientific journals that include the Proceedings of the Arkansas Academy of Sciences, Herpetological Review and American Birds. He is past president of the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association, former executive director of the Future Fishing Foundation and currently works for the Public Relations department of Arkansas Farm Bureau, where he is chief photographer. In 2011, he was inducted into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame as a “Legendary Communicator.” Sutton is a lifelong angler widely recognized as one of the world's top fishing experts and has pursued an incredible variety of freshwater and saltwater sportfish from Alaska and Canada to Mexico, Venezuela and Brazil.
