KELLI REA KLAMPE has written several historical novels in the Stuart Novel Series. She enjoys traveling to research her books. For Jayes, Kelli spent time in Virginia and Georgia. She visited Jamestown as well as Turner Farms, a Tobacco Plantation in Georgia. This book was especially important because it was almost never written. April 29, 2015 Kelli underwent Brain Surgery to clip a Post Anterior Communicating Artery Aneurysm. Her recovery and determination to complete the novel that she had regretted not writing before she believed there was a chance she would never have the chance to do so. Kelli is the mother to three wonderful children who reside in Oregon and are her inspiration in life. She is also Mommy to a four legged Pomeranian named Bear Bear: her writing and travel companion. Authors Note~ Scandal in the Stuart Court~The first edition of Scandal in Stuart Court was revised and re-published. This first edition was published March 31, 2015. I had been having horrible headaches, felt ill and assumed it was the stresses of writing. I went to a doctor on the 3rd of April to learn that I had a brain aneurysm. Life spiraled into true panic and preparation of 'In case I do not get off the table." I had my surgery on April 29th and miraculously came out alive and completely 'normal'. HOWEVER~ After actually reading Scandal in Kings Court~ POST SURGERY~ I realized that the aneurysm, the swelling and the air that was inside my brain GREATLY affected the quality of my writing. It was truly horrible writing, however it is truly a great story. For those that purchased the first edition I appolagize, you can upload a revised version on amazon. It was horrible writing and does not reflect the type of writing I do when I am not affected with brain trauma. Thank you for your understanding.Jayes was inspired because of the Aneurysm. I honest felt such regret that I had not taken the time to write the story of the White Slaves. I was unsure if I would ever be able to do it. I felt as though I had let them down. When I recovered, I loaded Bear Bear in my car and drove to the East Coast to research and write this story. Jayes is such a miracle in so many ways. This story desperately needed to be told and I am so thankful I had the second chance to do it. I fell in love with every character, cried and laughed with them. This is one book that you not be able to put down! I have always loved historical romance novels. I would start a book in the morning and lock myself in the bathroom til the wee hours of the morning to finish it. Reading and writing has always been a big part of my life. As a teenager I started writing to escape some of the realities of life and create one on paper. I realized I enjoyed writing almost as much as I enjoyed reading!I have three wonderful children who have turned into amazing young adults whom I could not be more proud! I am also mommy to Bear-bear the worlds most spoiled Pomeranian, who is also perfect :) I was a house wife, cheerleader, maid, chauffeur, garner, teacher, coach, moto cross mom and mechanic. Writing took awhile. Now I have time to get serious about it- rather than just thinking 'someday I will write that'. This is my someday! My love for history has only become stronger through the years. I love the researching nearly as much as creating characters and writing the story. I hope that the pages can pull you into the story so you feel like you have traveled back in time. I really hope once you finished one book you cannot wait to open another:)The Stuarts have become very very dear to me and I truly hope you will fall in love, root and cheer them on as much as I do!Visit my Website with many Articles of History and Signed Print editions in the bookstore:http://thestuartnovels.com/And Follow my Blog at http://kelliklampe.com/
