Grace for President is one of the cutest books I've ever read. It is all about a little girl named Grace who doesn't understand why there has never been a female president before, so when the grade has an election or 'president' she quickly nominates herself as a candidate. A boy who is quite popula...

Aw, poor Mortimer! He's lonely, and all he wants is somebody to love. I get you Mortimer, I get you.

I liked this book as it shows that sometimes homemade presents that come from the heart are better!Crafty Chloe is just what she sounds like. A girl who exceeds at making crafts. The trouble is that her friend, for her birthday, wants this amazing doll who totally rocks in purple. I have a weakness ...

Crafty Chloe decides to make her best friend's birthday gift, and even being mocked by a mean girl won't stop her. Great character-building book; great for girls who love arts and crafts; great for teaching the value of believing in yourself and what you do.

Oh, dear, the kids were cracking up at this one! Very cute, very funny, surprisingly touching, and fun pictures! I never expected to feel sympathetic toward a zombie, but Mortimer just gets under your skin.

This is one of the cutest stories of tolerance and acceptance I've read in a long time. Cultural differences are sometimes hard to understand and even friends can make the mistake of judging each other. What would you think of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or hummus if you'd never tasted it bef...

I'm a little ambivalent as to how to rate How to Potty Train Your Monster. I checked it out for the kids expecting that it would be a book that would make them laugh and guffaw. I thought this would be a comedy. But that's not what reading this book to them was like. The kids were so serious whi...

I don't like zombies and I don't much care for love, but maybe it's the whole "two negatives make a positive" thing that made me adore this book. I especially like the worms. They made me giggle.
