Kenneth R. Ross is a pastor, theologian, author and activist, currently based in Argyll, Scotland, and with long experience in Malawi, central Africa, where he was given the clan name "Ngozo" by Chief Champiti in 2011. His current roles include parish minister at Netherlorn in Argyll, series editor of the Edinburgh Companions to Global Christianity, Chair of the Scotland Malawi Partnership and Consultant to the World Council of Churches Commission on World Mission and Evangelism. He has earlier served as Professor of Theology at the University of Malawi and General Secretary of the Church of Scotland Board of World Mission. He was awarded the OBE in the UK New Year Honours of 2016. In his free time he enjoys gardening, coastal rowing and hill-walking.
