My books all tend to be darker romance, edge of you seat, angst filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles...prepare for the unexpected.I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters growing up. My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light; some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling. When I'm not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I'm a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.Come find me on Facebook, where I love interacting with my readers. https://www.facebook.com/KerDukeyauthororTwitter;https://twitter.com/KerDukeyauthorMy Titles:The Broken:The Broken was my debut novel. Although The Broken was a darker story, I loved how it explored the strength of a family brought together not from blood, but from a bond so much more powerful. Although these characters were flawed and had been broken by others and circumstance they still loved fiercely. They found the light in each other. The Broken Parts Of Us:I originally intended for The Broken, to be a standalone. My readers demanded a second book after I left them with a gasp ending in, The Broken. Jasper, had also become close to my heart as I wrote him and I wanted to give him his story. My Soul Keeper:I love all things paranormal and this story spoke to me before The Broken. Although this is a story of good and evil, this book was tame compared to my others. A lot of paranormal runs along the same concept, I wanted this story to be different from everything already out there and I hope I achieved that. The Beats In Rift:A lot of people assumed I mixed up Rift with Riff for this title but it is the character that does that and so the male lead is nicknamed Rift. Anyone that knows me knows I have a passion for music... so writing characters with the same passion was bound to happen. Empathy:The characters from Empathy began talking to me a long time ago. I let them manifest until I couldn't not write their story. Empathy has always intrigued me. I have a family member that appeared to lack empathy not to the degree of these characters but it's a scary thought, that people around us can be so...empty. FaCade:I met D.H Sidebottom through our writing and we quickly became great friends. We tend to share a similar fan base due to our styles of writing. We decided that we should write a novel together for these readers. Dawn is very much like me when it comes to a darker edge to her writing, which meant we pushed the boundaries to see how far each other would go. FaCade is a sexy, dark novel with the best of both of our dark minds.Cadence; The conclusion to the bestselling title FaCade. Desolate:Coming February 2nd. An Empathy Novel
