A competent enough urban fantasy, but ultimately forgettable. Probably won't bother with the next book unless I'm really in the mood for UF and have already read all UF on my TBR list.

While I liked it well enough, it dragged a bit, and there was no resolution...to anything. It was lacking heart. Risa came across as a pint sized Riley, and Riley is now harder than in her own series.I already have book 2 in my possession and hope this one actually picks up in plot and action.
