This book uses nostalgia like Forest Gump used leg braces (that's the only reference I could think of to fit into the era of this book, I'm too young and hip).I get that people love 1950-60 era stories, but I'm over it. Without the 'remember when' or 'it was a trying time when' or 'the 60s changed ...
