I teach college biology and have authored some fifteen science research papers and textbook chapters. I've also published short stories in the western and horror genres in eZines such as Frontier Tales and the Lovecraft eZine.I received my BA in psychology from Haverford College and a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Minnesota. I also studied anatomy at University College of London in England and physiology at the University of Miami in Florida.Born and raised outside of Washington, D.C., I've been living in a small town in Minnesota for eight years, with my wife, two little cowboys and a stray cat we adopted. I love hiking, fly fishing and western fiction.
