Jeez, emotionally wrenching for many very disparate reasons. I want happy for Charles!
I really loved this book. The plot was great, though I didn't very much liked the ending - poor Charles, he just can't seem to catch a break. I like the gory stuff and how Kathleen solves the crimes.
We still earn 70 cents on the man's dollar, but at least we get out own sociopathic rogue cops to love. Best aspect to the series: people trying so hard to turn Mallory into a conventional gal, even calling her "Kathy."
