I've always written stories, even as a young child.I enrolled in the Institute of Children's Literature in 2008 and graduated from the Children's Lit course in 2010. My main interest in writing is fiction/science fiction. These are subjects that have fascinated me since I can remember. I was the girl sitting in class reading Stephen King. Or, I'd go to the library and read Mary Shelley Wollstonecraft's "Frankenstein," or at least until I'd get caught by the librarian and told to read books more suited for my age group. I was also the nerd girl who stayed up until the wee hours, watching Godzilla and Gamera movies, anything related to science fiction. To be able to stay up and watch "The War of the Worlds," or "When World's Collide" as a young child fascinated and scared me. My first published story, "Faith," is included in Wicked East Press' sci/fi apocalypse anthology, "Earth's End," which became available January 2012.My first non-fiction story published in April of 2012, "Much Better, Thank You." This was my first publication with Hidden Thoughts Press for their anthology, "Anxiety Disorders True Stories of Survival." On January 11, 2014,another Hidden Thoughts Press released, "Phobia's: A Collection of True Stories." My non-fiction piece, "Snakes Alive," was included in this anthology.
