I'm a journalist at the Star Tribune newspaper in Minneapolis, and previously worked as a reporter in Rochester, N.Y., and Sioux Falls, S.D. I grew up on a farm outside of Sioux Falls, where my baking skills were honed in our 4-H club, the Rowena Rustling Raisers. No kidding. I'm a graduate of Augustana College in Sioux Falls.
