Kim Turney considers herself to be a 21st century artist. She worked in film marketing with Disney's Buena Vista Pictures and Distribution, stunt doubled, stunt coordinated and assistant sword mastered on many different film projects such as The Lady Musketeer (Hallmark), A Dead Calling, and The Grim Reaper. Kim studied digital cameras extensively and worked on the first fully digital workflow film project in Los Angeles in 2006. She created and taught digital filmmaking and video game design classes to children grades K - 12 with Freshi Films, LLC. Along with Dan Speaker and Jan Bryant, she recently became a Fight Design Choreographer for a new video game with Leviathan Interactive. Currently she writes, produces and directs the Academy of Theatrical Combat's web series FIGHT CLASS The Series.When not swinging swords at the Academy, Kim has a great time updating and maintaining TheatricalCombat.com and utilizing social media to communicate with sword fighters all over the world!
