Kimberly Sams has always loved telling and reading stories. By the age of eight she knew she wanted to be an author and sent away a story she'd written, complete with illustrations by her little brother, to Scholastic. She cherished that rejection letter for years, but as an adult Kimberly lost her way for a while. Deciding to pursue more "realistic" careers, Kimberly has worked in restaurants, hotels, call centers, and at colleges, while earning three (almost four) different degrees. When she started her book blog, Fantasy is More Fun, in July 2013 Kimberly had no idea it would rekindle that childhood dream. Connecting with authors and other voracious readers brought Kimberly full circle and she's finally writing again and loving every minute. When Kimberly's not reading or writing, she's playing with her dog Buffy (named for her favorite TV show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and enjoying time with her family.
