Kirk Glaser is a senior lecturer in the department of English at Santa Clara University, where he teaches writing and literature and serves as faculty advisor to the "Santa Clara Review." His poetry has been nominated twice for the Pushcart Prize, won several national awards, and appeared in such publications as "The Threepenny Review," "Cerise Press," and "Berkeley Poetry Review." He is currently working on a young adult science fiction novel entitled "The Runner Between Worlds," as well as circulating a poetry manuscript, Leaf of Ash. He earned his Ph.D. in American literature at the University of California, Berkeley, and his B.A. from Dartmouth College.
