I’m a big Kitty Norville fan: she’s witty and brave and the books have serious content, delivered with a light touch. Normally I’m cheering for Kitty to win the day and sad that there are no more pages left to read. Yet with “Kitty And The Dead Man’s Hand”, I found myself going “Is that it?” and “Wh...

This series had a bit of a dip with the second and third books, coming back up into greatness with the fourth and continuing in this. Set in Vegas we deal with more werewolf hunters, magic, were-things and that extra bit of romance too. The characterisation is dead on because while Kitty made some c...

I have mixed, yet ultimately positive feelings about this book. It went by rather quickly and packed a lot of action in a seemingly short time. I'm not sure what has me feeling like something was lacking but I'm not going to worry about it right now. 3.75 Stars

It has been a while since I had been back with Kitty the werewolf and her gang. However, slipping into this book was like meeting old friends again and it was easy to come back to what I remembered. I also have to admit I was never totally sure I wanted Kitty with Ben. It didn't seem to totally mesh...

I'm sorry, but I do NOT get this Kitty and Ben thing. They never have any relationship problems, ever. No bickering over silly things, no talking about feelings, nothing. And how often to you hear the phrase "I love you" come out of either of them? Never. Once, Kitty said it to Ben (at the end of th...

Now that Kitty and Ben's lives aren't in immediate danger, they look to the future. Pressure from Kitty's mom catalyzes them to start planning their wedding, figuring that (what with living together, working together, and being mated wolves) they're practially married already anyway. But neither o...

Decent addition to the series, but I didn't like it as much as I did the last one. Fun basic brain candy. Ben ends up playing the damsel roll again, and that's a fun twist.

Although I've noted that a lot of people were disappointed with this book, I liked it. There wasn't a whole lot of Ben but I liked how Kitty's getting stronger and stronger. Kitty and Ben go to Las Vegas to get married without all the expense of a wedding in Denver. But all kinds of problems happ...
