This historical romance kept my interest throughout with its fast paced action. King Henry arranges a marriage between recently widowed Isobel and a french noble for political alliance. Sir Stephan is one of the knights who protects her while she awaits her betrothed.
This book was a goodreads giveaway. My first and only win so far. I do enjoy this time period, but for some reason, I just did not feel a connection to the story or the characters. I have not read this author before, but would consider giving her another try.
